Record multi-plane manual

I have copied the instruction manual for the Record multi-plane No 405 and put it here. It is a large pdf file (1.6mb) which will be a slow download through a dial-up connection. You will need Acrobat Reader to view the file.

The Record 405 is the English tool maker's copy of the American Stanley 45 combination plane. The Stanley original was produced from 1884 until 1962 — see Patrick Leach's detailed description. Production of the Record 405 started in 1933, and stopped in 1982. (Thanks to Peter Evans for helping with those dates!)
