I am riding a bamboo bicycle through the main street of Christiania. Usually it takes quite a bit to make the roughies turn their heads — but this bamboo bicycle does the trick. It is beautiful, light and fast — and it is nice to touch.As I park the bamboo bicycle in front of the shop in order to have a black currant juice it feels almost as if I am dismounting a Harley right next to a café — several people come over to touch the frame and to check out how the bike is made…
