Ratbag of note: Sam Sloan
Jack of all trades and New York taxi driver Sam Sloan is opinionated and litigious. He’s obsessed with chess, he’s suing the city Taxi Commission, he doubts President Clinton’s parentage, he has a political solution for Afghanistan, and he relentlessly follows those who have done him wrong.
He wrote a book about Thomas Jefferson, available from amazon.com. I haven’t read it, so please don’t take this as a recommendation.
He also has, on his site, several pages describing all the women he has ever had sex with, which total in the hundreds apparently.
What a creepy guy.
Sam Sloan's page is pornography for the psychiatric profession. He's litigious, narcissistic, obsessed, and full of vitriol.
Apparently, Travis Bickle has a real-life counterpart.
Having been entertained by this colorful character Sam Sloan largely through his web site, he seems to be
on the level. If so, some may cheer his frankness and from what I assertain, honest approach to life. Certainly he believes in free speech and probably overly so.
Critics seem to focus largely on his stated sexual exploits as a basis to condemn his entire character.
One might consider that sexual freedom and honesty are not necessarily related.
The only criticism that I have is that complex sexual relations can result in harm to related individuals.
On the other hand, there are many advantages in "being yourself".
At least people know what they are dealing with.
In conclusion from what I know of Sloan, I'd trust him over the average fellow.
At first he had some interesting stuff on his website but then I read more and it was pretty obvious this guy is about as weird as they come. Stay away.
